Delivering exceptional results as an AutoCAD Drafter requires a unique blend of technical expertise and creativity.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed engineering drawings for oil and gas production facilities and midstream operations using AutoCAD software.

This role demands a strong understanding of engineering principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and project managers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and preparing engineering drawings, plans, and layouts for oil and gas production facilities and midstream operations.
  • Updating drawings markup using Blue Beam and updating in AutoCAD.
  • Collaborating with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Ensuring all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Reviewing and revising drawings based on feedback from engineers and other stakeholders.

Maintaining accurate records of all drawings and revisions is crucial. Additionally, providing technical support and guidance to other team members as needed is essential.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other relevant drafting tools.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Experience with 3D modeling software, knowledge of oil and gas production facilities and midstream operations, and familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards are also highly desirable.
