Job Title: Senior School Leader

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of visionary leadership, strategic planning and staff management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective leadership to the school community, setting goals and direction.
  • Evaluate and enhance instructional practices, ensuring alignment with state standards.
  • Supervise and develop teaching staff, focusing on student achievement and academic performance.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, addressing student concerns and issues.
Leadership & Development:
  • Recruit, retain and develop high-quality staff members.
  • Conduct regular evaluations, provide feedback and facilitate professional growth opportunities.
  • Promote collaboration among staff, enhancing instructional practices and student outcomes.
Curriculum & Instruction:
  • Oversee curriculum development and implementation, ensuring educational innovation.
  • Ensure instructional practices meet state standards and promote academic excellence.
  • Monitor student progress, identifying areas for improvement.
Student Affairs & Discipline:
  • Establish a positive school culture that promotes respect and responsibility.
  • Develop and implement programs supporting student well-being and extracurricular activities.
Parent & Community Relations:
  • Build and maintain relationships with parents, fostering communication and involvement.
  • Collaborate with community organizations to enhance school programs and resources.
Qualification:

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory, Master's degree preferable.

Minimum 12 years of experience in education, with at least 3-5 years as Principal or Vice Principal.
