Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic technical leader to drive full-stack development, architect scalable solutions, and promote technical excellence across projects. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with modern frameworks, eCommerce platforms, and complex integrations.

About the Role

As a senior backend developer, you will take ownership of architecture and development, guide a team of engineers, and deliver high-performance applications. You will work on integrations, custom solutions, and platforms like Magento, WordPress, and Shopify, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead backend development using Laravel and modern PHP frameworks.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
  • Manage system integrations via REST APIs, GraphQL, EDI, and third-party services.
  • Oversee projects involving Magento, WordPress, Shopify, and related stacks.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with product, design, frontend, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery.
  • Ensure performance optimization, code quality, and effective documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5-7 years of backend development experience in PHP, with deep expertise in Laravel.
  • Experience working with Magento, WordPress, and Shopify.
  • Strong background in system integrations using APIs (REST, GraphQL), EDI, and webhooks.
  • Proficiency in: PHP, Laravel, Java, ReactJS, Node.js, MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, version control (Git), cloud platforms (AWS).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple clients.
  • Flexibility to work in a small company environment.
