Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Role Overview:

This is a key position in the finance team responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for multiple US clients.

The successful candidate will maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per US GAAP, and perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company balances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for multiple US clients.
  • Record journal entries, general ledger adjustments, and ensure timely posting of transactions.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per US GAAP.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company balances.
  • Support preparation of management reports and financial dashboards for clients.
  • Assist with US tax filings, sales tax returns, and payroll processing.
  • Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and client-specific requirements.
Requirements:
  • B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CPA (US) / ACCA or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years in US Accounting / Outsourcing / KPO industry.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, US tax compliance, and payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting software.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with US clients.
