Job Title: Business Insights Specialist

 

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled Business Insights Specialist to join our data team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail and experience in business analytics.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate and reliable data sets, ensuring integrity and consistency.
  • Reporting and Insights: Design and implement reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders, enhancing business decision-making.
  • Database Management: Manage and support the database environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance analysts to ensure high standards of data quality.
  • Security and Confidentiality: Process sensitive data and information according to guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and security at all times.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.

 

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience: Work experience as a Business Analyst or in a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and provide recommendations.
  • Methodologies and Processes: High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Relational Databases: Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • Addressing and Metadata Standards: Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
