Lead Data Insights Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Lead Data Insights Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze complex data from various sources using statistical methods and tools like Excel and SQL.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to visualize data insights.
  • Translate business questions into actionable data queries and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform forecasting and strategy development.
  • Perform A/B testing and statistical analysis to evaluate business performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Document data definitions, processes, and business rules for clarity and transparency.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools and statistical software.
  • Familiarity with Excel and at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, R).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data findings clearly and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Understanding of CRM and marketing analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of hypothesis testing and statistical modeling.
