Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Lead to lead our automation efforts and drive quality assurance in software development. This role involves designing efficient testing strategies, managing test execution, and developing automated test scripts and frameworks.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Has at least 5 years of experience in test automation using Java and JavaScript for both UI and service tiers.
  • Has prior experience working on trading or financial services domains.
  • Is able to own test strategy for given systems and lead certification and automation efforts.
  • Has solid experience writing comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test plans to align with business requirements.
  • Has experience with API testing and automated testing tools such as Cucumber, Rest Assured, Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Insomnia, Cypress, Karate, SQL, and Jenkins CI/CD.
  • Is familiar with version control systems like Git and has experience with requirement analysis, defect tracking, coordinating with team members, and test reporting and sign-off.
  • Has knowledge of cloud-based testing environments, containerization, and orchestration tools, and Agile methodologies.
  • Has strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time.
