Key Responsibilities:
Automation Test Design & Execution
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of web applications.
Test Strategy & Planning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and identify key areas for test automation across both UI and API layers.
Test Framework Development
Create and enhance automation test frameworks using Cypress , ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and reusable. Help integrate Cypress with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) to automate the testing process.
Test Case Development
Convert manual test cases into automated test scripts. Ensure that the test scripts are comprehensive, easy to maintain, and align with business requirements.
Bug Tracking and Reporting
Identify, report, and track defects found during automated testing. Work with developers to reproduce issues and ensure that issues are resolved.
Test Maintenance
Update and maintain existing automation tests to adapt to new application features, improvements, or updates in the development cycle.
Collaboration
Work closely with the development team to ensure the testability of new features. Provide feedback and ensure that the development team adheres to quality standards.
Performance Testing (Optional)
Execute performance tests to validate the performance of critical business flows.
Continuous Learning
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in test automation, Cypress, and JavaScript. Share knowledge with peers and mentor junior engineers
