Job Title: Senior Mortgage Specialist

Job Description:

The role of a Senior Mortgage Specialist involves overseeing the evaluation and approval process for commercial and consumer banking loans. The individual will be responsible for coordinating with external vendors, completing APF processes, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate loan applications and recommend approval or rejection
  • Coordinate with external vendors to obtain necessary documentation and reports
  • Complete APF processes, including site visits, builder meetings, and original document verification
  • Prepare valuation reports and APF reports for properties visited
  • Verify documents of properties and release valuations as required
  • Update reports in the Loan Origination System (LOS)
  • Initiate cases to external vendors, obtain reports within agreed timeframes, coordinate with branches and vendors, and bill vendors accordingly
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in location-specific knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
