**Procurement Operations Role Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage day-to-day procurement operations processes, including purchase requisition to purchase order conversion, fixed asset creation and capitalization, supplier re-certification, contract drafting, and system updates.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage key procurement operations processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to team performance metrics, such as service level agreement, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with category managers, accounts payable, vendor risk management office, corporate ethics and compliance teams, information security and privacy, and contingent workforce program team to drive issue resolution and process improvements.
  • Review and draft contracts, handle customer issues, and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to inform buyer activities, build and publish reports, and represent the team on internal forums.
  • Provide clarity and support to internal partners on procurement policies and methodologies.
  • Demonstrate ownership and deliver projects to achieve operational excellence and scalability.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in any subject area; master's degree preferred.
  • Around 5-7 years of experience in procurement operations, with exposure to both product and services procurement in at least two categories.
  • Thorough knowledge of procurement processes and experience with procurement tools like Ariba/Coupa and ERP systems like SAP/Oracle.
  • Contract drafting experience and knowledge of legal terms.
  • Working experience in shared services or procurement organizations.
  • Exposure to using reporting and metrics tools and solid understanding of intermediate to advanced Excel and professional-level proficiency in English.
  • Soft skills: confidence, self-starter, strong ownership and accountability, ability to learn and operate out of comfort zone, proactive, collaborative, quick to adapt to changes, analytical problem-solving capability, excellent written and verbal communication skills, flexible, global thinking, customer-focused, and willingness to own problems for effective resolution.
