Job Opportunity: Strategic Procurement Lead

Seeking a seasoned procurement expert to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies, ensuring value, speed, compliance, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and create tailored RFPs/RFXs.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and ensure adherence to controls, audits, and regulatory obligations throughout the sourcing cycle.
  • Manage contract remediation, including data privacy, OCIR, data transfer agreements, and country-specific terms.
  • Negotiate and oversee third-party supplier control obligations (SCOs).
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize buying channels.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices in category management to strengthen procurement capabilities.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in sourcing/procurement, preferably in technology procurement within financial services.
  • Strong expertise in RFPs, contract negotiations, vendor management, and compliance.
  • Proven experience in contractual review and redlining.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across divisions.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Leadership qualities to set objectives, coach teams, and drive operational effectiveness.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in operational/core sourcing teams in technology.
  • Regulatory remediation experience (data privacy, OCIR, etc.).
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks and governance practices.
