Business Intelligence Analyst

 

About the Job Role

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools.

  • Collect, clean, transform, and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, aggregate, and analyze large volumes of data.
  • Use Python for data manipulation, automation, and exploratory data analysis.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support data validation, quality checks, and governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and analytical solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product, Business, and Engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in SQL (query optimization, joins, CTEs, window functions).
  • Knowledge/Experience in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn for analysis & visualization).
  • Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
  • Ability to solve problems, pay attention to detail, and communicate effectively.

Good to Have (Preferred Skills):

Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.). Exposure to ETL processes and data pipelines.
