Job Overview

This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the internal audit team in Mumbai. The successful candidate will bring over 15 years of experience in managing Internal Audits, preferably in Shipping and Logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit Planning
    • Risk Assessment: Develop a thorough risk assessment-based annual audit plan to ensure effective coverage of financial, operational, and compliance aspects.
  • Audit Execution
    • Leadership: Lead and execute internal audits to identify areas for improvement and optimize business processes.
    • Reporting: Prepare clear, concise audit reports and findings for senior management.
  • Internal Controls
    • Assessment: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance frameworks to ensure they are operating as intended.
    • Recommendations: Recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and controls to enhance overall business performance.

Excellent communication skills are essential for this position, enabling the General Manager to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
