Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing and managing business intelligence solutions to support data-driven decision making.

  • Develop and manage dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Analyze sales trends, market performance, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Provide insights to support strategic decision-making for marketing campaigns, product launches, and portfolio management.
Data Management and Security

The ideal candidate will have experience in ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security by collaborating with IT and data engineering teams.

  • Manage large datasets from internal and external sources, including CRM systems, market intelligence platforms, and supply chain databases.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of data warehouses and ETL processes.
Collaboration and Communication

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on BI initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to provide actionable intelligence.
Process Improvement

The Business Intelligence Specialist will identify and implement best practices in BI processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Train team members and stakeholders on the use of BI tools and data interpretation.
  • Support forecasting and scenario planning based on industry insights.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in BI tools, Tableau, PowerBI, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong SQL and data modeling capabilities, experience with Python or R is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, including knowledge of pharma market data sources such as IQVIA IMS Health or Symphony Health is a must.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing business challenges.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques is a plus and good to have.
