We are Rebel Foods, a pioneer in the food technology industry, and we're seeking a seasoned Data Scientist III to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in machine learning, data analytics, and problem-solving to drive business growth and innovation.

About the Role

As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced data models and algorithms to address complex business challenges in food technology. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, product managers, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy predictive models for inventory forecasting, order predictions, marketing spend optimization, delivery time prediction, personalization, customer insights, product recommendations, supply chain planning, capacity optimization, and more.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement scalable data architectures, ensuring seamless data integration and efficient model deployment.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop data-driven strategies to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong working knowledge of machine learning techniques, including regression, classification, clustering, neural networks, and Bayesian models.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow and scikit-learn.
  • Experience working with varied data types, including structured and unstructured data, and databases.
  • Ability to work with version control systems, agile development methodologies, and DevOps practices for deploying models in production.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to think analytically and strategically.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of Data Science experience in the industry, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data science concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
