Job Title: Identity Security Specialist

Description:

Our organization is seeking a skilled Identity Security Specialist to develop and implement secure identity solutions using industry-leading technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing identity management systems, as well as developing backend services in Java to support authentication and authorization workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement identity security solutions using PingFederate, PingAccess, and related Ping Identity products.
  • Develop and maintain backend services in Java to support authentication and authorization workflows.
  • Integrate applications into single sign-on (SSO) frameworks using SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect protocols.
  • Customize PingFederate policies using OGNL expressions and support front-end customizations (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Collaborate with architects, security teams, and application owners to deliver secure identity solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex authentication and federation issues across environments.
  • Support multi-factor authentication, passwordless authentication, and adaptive access strategies.
  • Maintain and enhance access management platforms and federation infrastructure.
  • Participate in identity security roadmap planning and architectural decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in identity management, with a focus on SSO and federation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PingFederate, PingAccess, and other Ping Identity tools.
  • Proficiency in Java backend development and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
  • Deep understanding of identity protocols: SAML, OAuth2, OIDC.
  • Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman.
  • Basic Linux administration and public key infrastructure (PKI) fundamentals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
