Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer/Technical Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Synapse Analytics. They will also design and implement scalable data architectures following Medallion Architecture and best practices.

This role involves performing data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration across structured and unstructured datasets. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain data lake solutions in Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) Gen2.

Additionally, they will write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Implementing CI/CD pipelines for data workflows using Azure DevOps is also a key responsibility.

The Senior Software Engineer/Technical Specialist will collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data availability. They will also ensure data governance, security, and compliance in Azure-based data solutions.

Maintaining reliability and performance of data pipelines through monitoring and troubleshooting is crucial for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Azure Data Engineering: Strong experience with Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, and Databricks.
  • SQL and Python: Expertise in SQL, T-SQL, and Python for data processing and transformation.
  • Big Data Processing: Hands-on experience with PySpark for big data processing.
  • Data Storage and Processing: Proficiency with Azure Data Lake (ADLS) Gen2 for data storage and processing.
  • CLOUD COMPUTING: Knowledge of Cloud Computing and its applications.
