Payment Security and Data Architecture Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Payment Security and Data Architecture Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payment security, data architecture, and tech risk management.

This role will be responsible for providing independent oversight and expert guidance on payment security and data architecture risks, working closely with business, IT, and risk teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure payment systems that adhere to PCI DSS standards, utilizing tokenization and encryption techniques, and minimizing data breaches.
  • Develop and maintain a robust data architecture that ensures data lineage, lifecycle, and storage, while adhering to data governance policies.
  • Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, ensure network security through firewalls and intrusion detection systems, and monitor logs for security incidents.
  • Ensure cloud-based infrastructure is secure, develop and maintain secure software development life cycles (SDLC), and enforce data protection policies.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, perform regular compliance reviews, and develop policies to mitigate risks associated with payment security and data architecture.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, GDPR, NIST, and ISO 27001, ensuring our payment security and data architecture practices align with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in payment security, data architecture, or tech risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of PCI DSS, data governance, and cloud platforms.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Certifications like CISSP, CISA, PCI ISA, CDMP are highly desirable.
