Risk Specialist

We're seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in retail lending risk to join our Mortgage division as a Risk Specialist.

This role requires a deep understanding of credit policies and risk management strategies, as well as the ability to balance business needs with risk appetite.

  • Credit Policy Leadership: Independently manage credit policies while continuously enhancing product policies.
  • Market Studies: Conduct peer benchmarking and ongoing analysis to integrate best practices into our product policies.
  • Timely Guidance: Foster a strong risk culture by offering timely guidance and responses to policy queries.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Ongoing Feedback: Engage with senior and top management to support product innovation and market responsiveness.
  • Policies Dissemination: Effectively communicate policies through training, knowledge tools, and clear communication to all relevant stakeholders.
Process & System Enhancements
  • Process Improvements: Drive process improvements based on audit findings, branch feedback, and operational observations.
  • Systems Review: Enhance efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Audit Findings Closure: Manage internal, statutory, and regulatory audits with corrective actions.
Portfolio Monitoring & Risk Analytics
  • Dashboards Development: Monitor key risk indicators and portfolio health.
  • Real-Time Transaction Monitoring: Ensure policy compliance and uphold risk standards.
  • Analytical Insights: Maintain portfolio quality and preempt emerging risks.
