Strategic Transaction Leader

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advising clients on strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate restructuring initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Leadership: Manage end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, encompassing origination, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
  • Client Advisory: Provide strategic guidance to clients on potential M&A opportunities, ensuring alignment with long-term goals and objectives.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses.
  • Deal Structuring: Design deal structures that meet client objectives while maximizing value, overseeing negotiations of terms, pricing, and legal documentation.
  • Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, banks, legal advisors, and third-party advisors.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry developments to identify new opportunities for clients.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on financial analysis, client presentations, and deal execution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Seamlessly execute transactions with legal, tax, and regulatory teams.

Qualifications:

  • MBA in Finance or equivalent degree
  • 8-12 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or private equity raises, with a strong track record of deal advisory experience.
