Senior Manager Consumer Activation

Job Description

Lead a team in experiential marketing, driving consumer activation and event strategy. Reporting to the Chief Digital Marketing Officer (CDMO).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop an annual set of activities/calendar based on brand plans and drive their execution.
  • Ensure clear strategies for each key sub-brand, aligning activation with business objectives and measuring impact.
  • Build and maintain a consumer database, enabling retargeting efforts.
  • Promote rural and higher participation in melas/fairs, exploring regional festivals.
  • Optimize costs through negotiation and cost-effective models.
  • Identify new touch points for engagement, sampling, or sales.
  • Create campaigns using technology like AR/VR/Meta/Gaming, ensuring measurement and disruption.
  • Maintain a continuous consumer database, covering behavioral questions and feedback.
  • Review finance trackers and SOP adherence periodically.
  • Manage agencies effectively, focusing on specialized and regional partners.
  • Highlight best practices in activation and digital projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Industry knowledge: Strong understanding of activation and events, preferably with an FMCG background.
  • Creativity: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative tech-based solutions.
  • Collaboration and people management: Strong collaborative and partnership skills, with experience in team building.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans within desired timelines and budgets.
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Measurement: Ability to measure campaign performance using metrics like productivity, sales lift, and brand health.
