Financial Operations Director

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Director to join our team. As a key member of the leadership group, you will be responsible for driving financial performance and ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and contractual obligations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, preferably within the hospitality industry, and relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA or CIMA. You will lead the preparation of accurate financial reports, forecasts, and projections, analyzing complex financial data to create actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all financial matters are communicated clearly and effectively.
  • Implement processes and procedures to maintain a robust control and compliance environment, reporting any issues of non-compliance to the supervising manager.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve the efficiency of financial operations and provide industry-leading support.
  • Lead budgeting processes and implement cost controls to ensure financial efficiency across departments, assisting in achieving financial targets set by hotel management and owners.
  • Support the finance leader in innovating financial practices and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Strong leadership and team development skills are essential, along with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
