Job Description

As a key player in our technology hub, you will be responsible for providing primary operational support for multiple large, distributed software applications. Your expertise will ensure the availability, performance, and security of these services.

You will employ deep troubleshooting skills to detect problems related to application, infrastructure, and potential security incidents. Your work will involve:

  • Developing and monitoring various monitoring dashboards to identify issues before they impact our services.
  • Providing primary operational support for multiple large, distributed software applications.
  • Employing deep troubleshooting skills to improve the availability, performance, and security of services.
  • Performing in-depth analysis of production incidents to assess effective business impact and inform engineering teams.
  • Creating dashboards and alerts for monitoring the platform, defining key metrics and service level indicators, and ensuring relevant metric data is collected.
  • Participating in 24/7 on-call rotations and automating tasks to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborating with other teams to resolve major incidents and implement permanent fixes.
  • Establishing and publishing regular KPIs/metrics useful for measuring performance, SLA, stability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Performing integrations between components and monitoring tools.
  • Leading hypercare events internally from our NOC team.
  • Responsible for incident logging, accurately tracking and documenting all incidents.
