Lead Data Strategist

We seek an accomplished Lead Data Strategist to drive data-driven insights and decision making within our organization.

Job Description:

Data Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and maintain a robust data infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration across systems.
  • Design and implement data pipelines for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data standards and best practices.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Craft insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI and Looker Studio, providing actionable insights for product, marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Build templates and reports for product funnels, cohorts, and revenue tracking, facilitating informed business decisions.

Product & Behavioral Analytics

  • Manage and configure tools like Mixpanel or Amplitude, enabling the collection of meaningful user action and product feature data.
  • Set up and maintain tracking for user interactions and product features, ensuring accurate attribution and analytics.

Attribution & Campaign Tracking

  • Ensure accurate campaign tracking through UTM parameters and collaboration with engineering and marketing teams to validate attribution data.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and refine data strategies, fostering a culture of data-driven decision making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field in a B2B SaaS company.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience optimizing queries and data models for efficient data retrieval.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar business intelligence tools, with experience building complex dashboards and reports.
  • Experience working with product analytics platforms, such as Mixpanel or Amplitude, to collect and analyze user behavior data.
  • Ability to communicate technical insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with BigQuery, dbt, or Snowflake, with expertise in large-scale data processing and analytics.
  • Background in SaaS environments using PLG or freemium models, with knowledge of subscription-based business models.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic teams with adaptability to changing priorities and requirements.
