Senior Data Architect Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Architect to design and implement innovative solutions involving data models, databases, and big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing robust data models for efficient database performance
  • Planning databases to meet business requirements
  • Ensuring data security through implementation of best practices
  • Improving databases through optimization techniques
  • Creating a centralized data catalog for seamless data management

You will also be responsible for staying current with industry trends and advancements in big data technologies. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and implement solutions using agile methodologies and continuous integration practices.

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong technical expertise in distributed systems, big data, and cloud computing
  • 5+ years of experience with testing tools related to big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Databricks)
  • 3+ years of expertise with big data technologies including Power BI, Databricks, and Spark
  • Practical, hands-on expertise in DLT, Databricks, PySpark, Python and the ability to independently design and implement solutions
  • DLT - mandatory

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control systems (e.g., Git) is highly desirable.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of strong proficiency in designing and implementing solutions involving data models, databases, and big data technologies
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Github and terraform
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies
