Process Engineering Assistant Manager

About the Role:

To support manufacturing efficiency by optimizing production processes, reducing costs through advanced technology solutions, and ensuring consistent standards across the organization.

  • Maintain and optimize production processes to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce cost per product through advanced technology.
  • Benchmark and implement state-of-the-art manufacturing standards across our operations.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, digitization, and IoT-based solutions for smarter operations.
  • Prepare PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs/WIs for every process step.
  • Conduct periodic audits, calibrations, and inspections to maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis, CAPA, and 8D problem-solving.
  • Optimize shop floor layouts, conduct time studies, and standardize processes.
  • Collaborate closely with production, quality, and SCM teams to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical/Production/Automotive Engineering required. Experience in Process or Industrial Engineering within Automotive OEM, Tier 1, or Engineering industry necessary. Exposure to ISO 9000 / IATF environments expected. Hands-on experience in New Product Development preferred. Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM certification a plus.
