Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist

Overview:

The Network Infrastructure Specialist will oversee the design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure to ensure continuous and secure data flow between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Implementation: Manage the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, low latency, redundancy, and security.
  2. Collaboration and Vendor Management: Collaborate with production and IT teams to align network infrastructure with operational needs, manage relationships with network vendors, and drive continuous improvements in network performance.
  3. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce network security policies and controls, manage documentation and compliance with network management standards and protocols, and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
  4. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Plan and execute disaster recovery and business continuity planning to minimize operational disruptions and ensure rapid recovery from incidents affecting network services.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 10+ years of experience in managing production floor network infrastructure in manufacturing or industrial environments, with hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network equipment and network monitoring tools.
  3. Skills: Proficient in designing and managing large-scale production network deployment, strong knowledge of network security practices and protocols, expertise in troubleshooting network issues, and ability to manage vendor relationships.
