We are seeking an exceptional network professional to lead our data center networking team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing and maintaining complex network infrastructures, with a strong focus on cloud-based solutions.

This role demands technical expertise, leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, flexibility and performance of our network infrastructure, while meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, maintain and manage Cloud Network Infrastructure, encompassing both physical and Software Defined Networking (SDN) frameworks.
  • Audit, review and update infrastructure documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain high levels of collaboration with clients and team members on daily changes, incidents and requests.
  • Lead a team of Network Engineers, providing technical guidance and evaluating team member performance on a regular basis.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and trends to assess risks, business impact and recommend improvements.

Requirements:

This role requires in-depth technical knowledge and managerial capabilities, including:

  • At least 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing and maintaining Data Center networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches and wireless devices, as well as Cisco/Juniper/Fortigate firewalls and load balancers.
  • Strong understanding of Data Center network technologies, including WAN & Routing (Leased lines, GRE VPNs, IPSEC-based VPNs, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VRRP/HSRP, EVPN), Security (Firewalls, ACLs, NAT, IPS, IDS, RADIUS, TACACS+, IAS, VPN technologies), Switching (VLANs, VXLAN, LACP, EtherChannel, 802.3ad, VTP, 802.1q) and Quality of Service (QoS).
  • Familiarity with network monitoring protocols and tools (SNMP, NetFlow, Zabbix, PRTG) and good knowledge of SDN technologies, preferably with hands-on experience on any one of the SDN providers (VMWare NSX, Juniper Contrail/Tungsten, Arista, Cisco).
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly resolve complex problems.
  • Highly motivated individual with effective project management skills and ability to complete complex network tasks with minimal guidance.
  • Motivated learner with ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep networking skills current with emerging technologies.
  • Experience managing a team of at least 4 people in this role.
