Financial Accounting Specialist Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Financial Accounting Specialist to implement and maintain SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI) module with expertise in SAP FI&CO.
  • This role involves designing, configuring, and integrating SAP FICO with other modules such as Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, Production Planning, Costing, and Interfaces.
  • The successful candidate will provide knowledge and understanding of SAP FICO, Sales & Distribution, Materials Management concepts, and process flows to both understand existing configuration and design new solutions.
  • Key responsibilities include developing hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset accounting, LOCKBOX, GRIR Clearing, Cost center, Profit center accounting, CO-PA, Costing based CO-PA, and Product costing.
  • The ideal candidate will have exposure to Make-To-Order, Make-To-Stock, and Engineer-To-Order Scenarios.
  • Strong Excel skills with proficiency in VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and analytical skills are required.
  • The selected candidate will understand the capabilities of the FICO modules and its inter-relationships with other related modules of the SAP ERP environment.

Requirements

  • SAP FI&CO expertise
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining SAP ERP Financial Accounting module
  • Strong understanding of SAP FICO, Sales & Distribution, Materials Management concepts and process flows
  • Proficiency in Excel and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with MTO, MTS, and ETO Scenarios
