Job Description:

SAP Financial Control Consultant

We are seeking a skilled SAP Financial Control Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial solutions using SAP technology.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, test, and deploy detailed financial solutions within SAP change requests and projects, working with release managers and project managers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct workshops, lead an international team of consultants and subcontractors, coordinate with other teams for successful delivery of integrated financial solutions, ensuring development of functional and technical documentation.
  • Work on multiple engagements simultaneously, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Strong knowledge of account payable processes, including understanding current gaps and proposing solutions as per standard procedures.
  2. Ability to analyze complex financial processes impacting Material Availability Planning (MAP) like purchase returns, period-end activities, and GR/IR clearing.
  3. Good understanding of SAP integration technologies like APIs, EDI, and Integration Suite.
  4. Experience working with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) applications.
  5. Expertise in bank application functionalities, including DMEE and bank reconciliation, with a strong understanding of cash concentration concepts.
  6. Deep knowledge of the Controlling module, structure, objects planning, and actual process, with the ability to understand business structures and processes and find best-matched controlling objects.
  7. Profit center structure and rules definition along with splitting modules to prepare financial statutory reports out of SAP.
