Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Privacy Consultant to oversee the implementation and adherence to various privacy regulations, ensuring stringent data privacy compliance across all operations.

This role involves developing comprehensive privacy policies and procedures to align with evolving regulatory landscapes. The ideal candidate will ensure data privacy compliance through assessments of data sharing, transfer, and residency practices.

The selected professional will implement robust cybersecurity measures and controls to protect sensitive data, conduct Cybersecurity Risk Assessments focusing on data privacy and recommend mitigation strategies.

Additionally, this individual will operationalize privacy by integrating privacy-by-design principles into new and existing systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation and adherence to various privacy regulations
  • Develop comprehensive privacy policies and procedures to align with evolving regulatory landscapes
  • Ensure data privacy compliance through assessments of data sharing, transfer, and residency practices
  • Implement robust cybersecurity measures and controls to protect sensitive data
  • Conduct Cybersecurity Risk Assessments focusing on data privacy and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Operationalize privacy by integrating privacy-by-design principles into new and existing systems and processes

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in data privacy, data protection, or a related cybersecurity role
  • Extensive knowledge of Privacy Regulations and Privacy Policies
  • Deep expertise in Data Privacy and Compliance, including practical application
  • Strong Cybersecurity skills, particularly related to data protection controls
  • Proven experience working with various data protection laws and regulations

  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
