Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Securities Lending Specialist. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our securities lending operations, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing returns for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial markets, with experience in securities lending, settlements, payments, and corporate actions. They will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring daily exposure management for equity trades, booking cash collateral in and out from counterparties, and supervising aged equity trades to ensure settlement. They will also perform reconciliation tasks and process Crest returns, as well as monitor all collateral bookings made by Fixed Income and Equity collateral through to settlement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring daily exposure management for equity trades for both underlying clients and counterparts
  • Booking cash collateral in and out from counterparties
  • Supervising aged equity trades to ensure settlement
  • Performing reconciliation tasks and processing Crest returns
  • Monitoring all collateral bookings made by Fixed Income and Equity collateral through to settlement
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance or accounting
  • At least 5 years of experience in securities lending or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and instruments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
