The role of Senior Manager - Merger & Acquisition involves driving strategic growth by identifying opportunities, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring confidentiality standards.

This position supports the company's vision of enhancing defence capabilities and transforming it into a hub for high-tech design and manufacturing.

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

  • Identify M&A opportunities aligned with corporate objectives
  • Conduct detailed financial modelling and valuation analysis
  • Perform financial forecasting, business case development, and scenario analysis; Assess financial and operational risks associated with the transaction
  • Manage due diligence processes, working closely with internal teams, external advisors, and investment banks
  • Create presentations for internal review and senior leadership
  • Lead drafting of all transaction documents as well as closing procedures
  • Assist in post-merger integration, ensuring synergies and operational alignment

Strategy & Corporate Development

  • Develop business segment wise strategy, assessing industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities
  • Support senior leadership in defining long-term business objectives and investment plan
  • Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking
  • Prepare strategic plan and annual operating plan presentations and reports for executive leadership
  • Identify potential partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures to drive business expansion
  • Monitor post-investment performance and strategic alignment with corporate objectives
  • Lead program management for key corporate initiatives, ensuring completion and achievement of milestones

Key Qualifications and Experience

  • MBA (Finance) from Tier 1 institute / CA
  • Minimum CFA Level 2 (preferred)
  • 5-7 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in M&A / Strategy roles
  • Understanding of M&A processes, documentation, and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and presentation skills
  • Hands-on experience with financial dataset tools (Bloomberg / Capital IQ)
  • High attention to detail along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
