Biostatistician Role

About the Position:

  • We seek a senior biostatistician to lead our clinical research studies.
  • The successful candidate will provide expert consultation on statistical methodology and solve complex statistical problems.
  • Key responsibilities include supervising and directing biostatisticians, reviewing and approving proposed statistical designs, and leading biostatistical teams.
  • This role also involves developing and improving statistical processes, presenting at conferences, and providing strategic input for client research projects.
  • Responsibilities also include developing analysis plans, performing sample size calculations, and reviewing protocols.
  • Additional duties include fostering innovation in biostatistics and ensuring scientific integrity of research results.
  • The ideal candidate will stay up-to-date with current statistical and medical literature.
  • They will also participate in SOP development and updating.
  • As a key member of the team, this individual will represent clients at regulatory meetings and provide expertise in methodological advances.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in statistics, biostatistics, or related field.
  • Expertise in statistical software, including SAS and R.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in clinical research studies and study design.
  • Knowledge of statistical methodology and data analysis techniques.
