Role: IT Infrastructure Manager

Job Description:

- Managed and maintained the school's IT infrastructure, including servers, network equipment, CCTTs, and user devices.

- Managed hardware and software systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

- Provided technical support to staff, students, and faculty, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.

- Implemented and managed a secure network environment, ensuring data integrity and protection against cyber threats.

- Conducted regular system updates, patches, and backups to prevent data loss and ensure optimal performance.

- Collaborated with department heads to identify and implement technology solutions that enhanced administrative processes, resulting in increased efficiency.

- Administered user accounts, permissions, and access controls to maintain data confidentiality and compliance.

- Assisted in the selection and procurement of IT equipment and software, optimizing budget utilization while meeting the school's needs.

- Proficiency in automating Windows desktop/laptop builds, network, server, and troubleshooting, and in Windows XP/7 and Window Server.

- Hardware troubleshooting and replacement, maintaining and updating knowledge on all LAN and WAN operating systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complicated problems in relation to LAN and WAN systems.

- Coordinate with departments and implement all network and system hardware and software, administering all operations.

- Coordinate with various departments and establish effective communication with service providers to provide quality service.

- Administer and maintain Windows Active Directory/Windows Server 2012/16, troubleshoot various kinds of hardware calls. (SMPS / RAM / Motherboard) OS installation (win 7/8.1/10).

- Knowledge of Firewall.

- Respond to and resolve IT support requests, ensuring the Security of Data, Network Access, and Backup Systems.
