Embedded Program Manager Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Program Manager with deep experience in managing embedded software and hardware programs across the full product lifecycle. This role demands a tech-savvy leader who can manage high-complexity programs involving electronics hardware, embedded systems, firmware, and manufacturing workflows.

  • Lead Cross-Functional Programs: From architecture and prototyping to mass production.
  • Manage Timelines and Resources: Across engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Collaborate on DFM: With design engineers and suppliers to ensure high product yield.
  • Interface with Suppliers: Regularly to ensure project plans are updated periodically and plans put in place to avoid execution delays.
  • Develop Risk Mitigation Plans: And drive execution excellence with clear KPIs and regular program reviews.
  • Manage Change Control: For design revisions and process updates.
  • Provide Updates to Stakeholders: Vendors, leadership, and regulatory certification agencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional programs and manage technical resources.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with design engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Experience in developing risk mitigation plans and driving execution excellence.
  • Communication: Ability to provide updates to stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
