Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to lead complex initiatives in operational and customer service for lifecycle support of institutional trade flow functions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Institutional Investment Operations, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions that meet or exceed customer needs and expectations.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Specializing in FX Settlements process;
  • Delivering quality, sustainable and risk compliant solutions within agreed timelines;
  • Operating within well-documented end-to-end processes;
  • Focusing on continuous improvement and creation of efficiencies;
  • Determining and addressing root causes of issues;
  • Executing responsibilities with precision and reduced error rates;
  • Maintaining equitable relationships with senior stakeholders;
  • Voice at the table to improve strategy and technology enhancements;
  • Risk & Controls Mindset: Compliance with relevant risk standards, policies and regulations;
  • Identifying potential risks in operational processes;
  • Developing and implementing controls to mitigate associated risks;
  • Responsible for BCP and ICT management;
  • Ensuring system enforced controls, compensating controls, RCSA, daily recon controls (SOD/MOD/EOD) in place;
  • Delivery of Strategic Programs: Supporting and managing the delivery of Firms strategic programs;
  • Change Leadership / Re-engineering Initiatives: Leading change initiatives in FX Settlements process;
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience;
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions;
  • Strong leadership skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment;
  • Strategic thinking and good business judgment;
  • Good understanding of OPICS, Bswift, SWIFT and other industry standard applications;
  • Strong organizational and project management skills;
  • Comfortable working in matrix organization;
  • High degree of flexibility, working in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent presentation skills, effective written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to influence multiple groups and individuals to deliver high-quality and timely deliverables;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities;
  • Experience working with senior leaders straddling across Technology, Operations and Strategy;
