About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Privacy professional with strong expertise in privacy regulations, data protection frameworks, and compliance management to join our team as a Manager or Senior Manager. The role involves managing privacy projects, driving compliance initiatives, and ensuring adherence to global and regional data protection laws. You will be required to travel to the Middle East on a project-to-project basis to support client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

For Both Manager & Senior Manager:

  • Lead and manage data privacy and protection programs for global clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assess, design, and implement privacy frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with GDPR, PDPL, DIFC, CCPA, and other applicable laws.
  • Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) for new projects and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including IT, legal, risk, and compliance teams, to embed privacy requirements into business operations.
  • Handle incident response and breach management in line with global privacy requirements.
  • Develop and deliver training, awareness sessions, and workshops for clients and internal teams.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for senior leadership and client stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on evolving Middle East, Indian, and global data protection regulations and recommend necessary policy updates.

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Manager:

  • Lead large-scale privacy transformation programs across multiple clients and geographies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to CXOs and senior stakeholders on privacy strategies and risk mitigation.
  • Provide technical mentorship and manage a team of consultants and analysts.
  • Drive innovation in privacy operations, automation, and GRC integration to enhance compliance efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 6+ years for Manager; 9+ years for Senior Manager.
  • Strong expertise in data privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with privacy frameworks, DPIA, PIA, consent management, and cross-border data transfers.
  • In-depth understanding of regulations such as GDPR, DIFC, ADGM, PDPL, CCPA, and Indian DPDP Act.
  • Exposure to privacy technologies and GRC platforms is desirable.
  • Excellent client-facing, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Educational Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. preferred; MBA / legal background is a plus.

Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory)

  • CIPT, CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CDPSE, ISO 27701 LA or equivalent certifications are an added advantage.
