Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) professional to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a vital role in supporting project and operational finance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning & Budgeting
    • You will be responsible for preparing project budgets, cost baselines, and financial forecasts that align with business objectives.
    • Track budget vs. actuals regularly and flag variances early with actionable insights.
    • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to optimize cost allocation.
  • Invoicing & Revenue Management
    • You will support the Finance team in raising invoices for client projects.
    • Track receivables to ensure timely payments from clients.
    • Manage vendor payments and software subscription payments using Zoho.
    • Maintain accurate records of SOWs, WOs, MSAs, and NDAs for all projects.
    • Track billable vs. non-billable resources to ensure accurate project costing.
    • Oversee timesheet management for consultants and ensure timely submissions.
  • Forecasting & Projections
    • You will estimate future revenue and cost projections based on sales pipeline and current utilization.
    • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
    • Prepare periodic reports on utilization, profitability, and project financial health.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/CA/ICWA preferred).
  • 4–7 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, or project finance.
  • Strong knowledge of invoicing, revenue recognition, and vendor payment processes.
  • Proficiency in Zoho Books/Zoho Projects or similar financial/project management tools.
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel (financial modeling, projections, variance analysis).
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Project Management teams.
