SP India is currently seeking Consultant - Project Finance Specialist for our GCC Australia Mining – Central Sustaining Capital. This position will be a support to the project managers & responsible for project Finance.

• eliver high-quality capital analysis services for GCC AU mining infrastructure projects by leveraging financial analysis tools to produce value‑added reports for stakeholders.

• uild relationships with Project managers through close engagement and consultation
  U
• nderstand and where required document client-specific invoicing and project finance requirements.
  P
• rovide comprehensive project financial analysis and prepare administrative support documentation to ensure timely and cost‑effective project delivery.

• rack, analyze, and reconcile actuals, forecasts, and committed costs for mining projects.
  I
• nitiate and oversee financial transaction like client invoicing, purchase requisitions (PRs) and monitor purchase orders (POs) through their complete lifecycle.

• nsure compliance with established project management frameworks and organizational financial policies.

• upport both internal and external audits by maintaining complete, accurate, and compliant financial documentation and records.

• ake ownership of accurate project finance setups, invoicing and updates, including quality control for work completed by Finance BP and GBS as required.

• erve as a key liaison between Project, Operations, Finance, and PMO teams to drive alignment, collaboration, and transparency.

• rovide financial process guidance and governance expertise to project managers and workstream leads.

• perate and maintain project control tools (e.g., Oracle, Excel) to monitor and manage financial data effectively.

• versee and manage complex project budgets across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with overarching financial objectives.

• rive enhancements to financial tracking templates and reporting processes for improved efficiency and accuracy. Ensure prompt and accurate invoice processing in line with internal departmental standards. Proactively manage multiple workstreams and collaborate with cross‑functional teams, ensuring financial guidance, compliance, and acting as the primary contact for all finance‑related project queries.

• ontribute to monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis, accruals, and identification of financial risks.

• artner with project and finance teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and timely financial operations.

• xperience with MS office softwares is a must.

andatory Skills

• aster's or bachelor's degree in finance or business administration.

• –12 years' experience in project controlling, preferably within infrastructure or industrial EPC projects (O&G, Power, Mining, etc.).

• roficient in using financial tools and ERP systems related to finance.

• amiliarity with regulatory compliance requirements and International Financial Reporting Standards.

• xcellent organizational and reporting abilities.

• roven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• xcellent verbal and written communication skills in English and effective interpersonal skills.

• -12 years Valuable experience in project finance is considered as asset

• ust be time flexible and able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• amiliarity with other analytics tools such as Power Point, Excel, Power BI & equivalent dashboards.

• revious experience in an EPCM environment in the O & G, Power, Chemical process, Mat. Handling/Mining processing industry would be an asset.

• ust be Flexible to attend meetings outside office hours or early in the morning to align with Australian time.

ualifications

• ust have minimum 6-12 years of experience post-graduation, preferably relating to a large-scale professional services work environment.

• aster's/bachelor's degree in finance or business administration or diploma or certificate in finance or other applicable area would be an asset.

• ork experience on AU/NZ projects would be advantageous.
