Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Specialist to join our organization. As a key member of the quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our software delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a new development project that will have a significant impact on the entire organization. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, technical project managers, agile coaches, and developers.
Your primary goal will be to create a centralized repository for risk management, where data can be shared and utilized by teams across the organization.
You will be responsible for investigating and collaborating to align with the manager and create a go-forward plan. You will start with manual testing (functional, regression, UAT, exploratory, database validation, etc.) and then transition to automated testing using Selenium and Java.
In this role, you will write acceptance criteria, hold dev teams to those standards, and work on database querying across multiple query languages such as SQL and BigQuery.
Experience with CI/CD and pipeline deployments is highly beneficial.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automation environments
- Proficiency in BigQuery, SQL, Java, and Selenium
- Familiarity with CI/CD and pipeline deployments
- Experience with Gherkin and Groovy for test automation
