About the Role:

As a seasoned professional in artificial intelligence and machine learning, we're looking for an innovative engineer to develop cutting-edge products that utilize large language models and other foundation models. The ideal candidate will integrate emerging techniques into production systems, drive high-performance search and retrieval capabilities, and design evaluation frameworks for agent and model performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement AI-enabled products that leverage large language models and other foundation models.
  • Create and optimize high-performance search and retrieval capabilities, including data indexing, ranking, and query processing.
  • Design and develop evaluation frameworks for agent, RAG, and LLM performance.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in software engineering or end-to-end data science, with proficiency in Python and data-oriented algorithms.
  • A strong background in distributed data systems or machine learning engineering, with experience in frameworks like Ray being a plus.
  • Proven ability to experiment with new techniques and deliver robust production code, working primarily in Python with technologies like LlamaIndex, LangChain, Ray, Postgres, Iceberg, Google Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes/Helm.
  • Demonstrated experience in building agents, training and evaluating emerging foundation LLMs, constructing RAG systems, and planet-scale information retrieval systems, or working with vector databases.
