This role offers a unique opportunity to design and deploy AI-powered features that make a tangible difference in people's lives. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end AI-powered solutions that drive business value and improve customer outcomes.

As a Staff AI Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL. You will also work on integrating external AI services where appropriate and collaborating with ML engineers, software developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure seamless delivery of AI-powered features.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy AI-powered features that drive real-world impact
  • Develop scalable, high-performance backend applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Build and maintain APIs and microservices that enable real-time and batch inference of AI/ML models
  • Integrate external AI services where appropriate
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end AI-powered features
Requirements:
  • Strong backend engineer with experience building robust systems and a passion for applied AI
  • Proficient in Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL, with experience delivering production-grade services
  • Familiar with deploying and integrating ML models into applications, including fine-tuning pre-trained models
  • Comfortable working across backend systems and AI pipelines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented and proactive about writing secure, maintainable, and scalable code
