ServiceNow Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in developing custom applications, modules, forms, and workflows in ServiceNow.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in scripting languages such as JavaScript and Jelly scripting, and will have experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP web services, and MID Servers.

This role requires an expert-level understanding of ServiceNow best practices, leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment.

  • Develop custom ServiceNow applications, modules, forms, and workflows
  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP web services, and MID Servers
  • Implement ServiceNow best practices for development and deployment
  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver solutions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • A minimum of 5-9 years' experience in developing custom ServiceNow applications
  • Expert-level knowledge of ServiceNow platform, including scripting languages, APIs, and best practices
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and adapt to change
