ServiceNow Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and customizing the Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules in ServiceNow.

The ideal candidate will have experience with ServiceNow development, particularly in the areas of security operations, vulnerability management, and incident response procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Module Configuration: Configure and customize SIR and VR modules to meet business requirements.
  • Data Integration: Integrate third-party security data sources and tools into ServiceNow.
  • Scripting: Develop Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer using JavaScript and Glide.
  • Methodologies: Implement Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience with at least 2-3 implementations in Security Operations (SecOps).
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with best practices in IT security, vulnerability management, and incident response procedures.
  • Environment: Experience supporting large-scale ServiceNow environments (10,000+ users).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification for SIR and/or VR modules.
  • Additional Modules: Knowledge of additional ServiceNow modules (e.g., GRC, ITSM, App Engine).
  • Leadership: Experience mentoring or leading technical teams.
Competencies:
  • Configuration: Advanced configuration and customization of SecOps (SIR & VR) modules.
  • Solution Design: Solution design to translate business requirements into secure workflows.
