Test Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing tests for various software applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
  • Execute tests using automation frameworks such as Python Scripts and Robo Framework
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Lead a team of members in project activities such as estimation, strategy planning, test execution, code review, client support, and production support
  • Collaborate with developers to identify defects and provide feedback
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python and other programming languages
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of media domain testing
  • Experience with set top box testing, UI feature validation, OTT apps testing, and IP streaming testing
  • Working experience with Linux systems
  • Experience in requirement analysis, design, development, and building of web-based applications
  • Experience in regression testing, integration testing, defect tracking, and test automation
  • Programming skills in C#, Python, JavaScript, and Java
  • Solid understanding of digital television platforms
  • Agile project experience
  • Working experience with GIT repositories
  • Novice understanding of networking and packet capturing
  • Fluent in English, oral and written
