Lead Business Analyst - Insurance SolutionsJob Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Business Analyst to drive the implementation of insurance solutions, leveraging expertise in business process analysis and project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to strategize and plan Duck Creek Suite implementations, ensuring alignment across lines of business and states.
  • Develop and communicate requirements with functional teams, bridging gaps in interpretation and promoting streamlined delivery.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the requirements gathering process and propose improvements for enhanced efficiency.
Execution and Delivery
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and project planning activities to ensure timely delivery.
  • Work closely with Release BA Leads to ensure alignment and coordination.
  • Triage bugs and defects with the project team, ensuring timely resolution through collaborative efforts.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, and alternatives for process enhancement.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as required and provide guidance to junior business analysts.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing Duck Creek products, particularly in Property & Casualty insurance.
  • Strong project management capabilities and stakeholder coordination experience.
  • Deep understanding of business processes, with analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Logical, efficient, with strong attention to detail and ability to explain technical ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of performing under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's Degree and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years of Business Analysis experience, or Associate degree and 10+ years of experience, or 15+ years of hands-on Business Analysis experience.
