Senior Mobile and Web Application Developer

We are seeking an exceptional senior mobile and web application developer to join our team in designing and building innovative, student-focused applications for learning and engagement. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in creating user-friendly, scalable, and interactive apps that enhance the student experience. This is a contract-based, hybrid role that allows both on-site collaboration and remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and deploy mobile (iOS/Android) and/or web applications for student learning.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with educators and designers to understand student needs and translate them into app features.
  • Integration: Integrate databases, APIs, and third-party services for seamless functionality.
  • Optimization: Ensure apps are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
  • User Experience: Build engaging, student-friendly interfaces with modern UI/UX principles.
  • Testing and Maintenance: Test, debug, and maintain applications with continuous improvements.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages: Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
  • Mobile and Web Development: Experience with mobile app development (iOS/Android) and/or web application frameworks.
  • Databases and Cloud Platforms: Strong understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • UI/UX Principles: Familiarity with UI/UX principles to design intuitive apps.
  • APIs and Integrations: Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
Additional Skills
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work with educators and content creators.
  • E-learning Tools: Experience with gamification, edtech tools, or e-learning platforms is a plus.
