Software Engineer Position

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our global team. As an integral member of our engineering practice, you will contribute to all areas of development and operations.

Your primary responsibilities will include performing engineering assignments using existing procedures and best practices, conducting research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts, working closely with global teams to ensure effective technical solutions, providing an escalation point and participating in on-call support rotations, actively monitoring key metrics and reporting on trends, and participating in our Engineering Community of Practice.

The Product Integrity, Sustainability & Compliance Technology team enables lululemon's supply chain from raw materials to finished good production through innovative technology solutions. Core Responsibilities
  • Take part in Agile ceremonies
  • Perform engineering assignments using existing procedures and best practices
  • Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts
  • Work closely with global teams to ensure deliver effective technical solutions
  • Provide an escalation point and participate in on-call support rotations
  • Actively monitor key metrics and report on trends
  • Participate in our Engineering Community of Practice
  • Contribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systems
  • Perform reliability monitoring and support as needed to ensure products meet guest expectations
Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible. Six to Eight+ years of engineering experience is required, as well as ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.

Candidates should have strong knowledge and working experience with programming languages such as java and python, application development frameworks like Spring Boot, Cloud technologies and services such as AWS Lambda and AWS S3, data integration technologies such as Kafka, API based system design, relational and no-sql databases such as Postgres, MongoDB, containers and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes, CI/CD principals and tools like Gitlab, Splunk and Datadog, Agile methodology and familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence, infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
