High-Performance Analytics Specialist

Job Overview:

The role of a High-Performance Analytics Specialist is crucial in today's data-driven business landscape. We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in statistical modeling, data analysis, and software development to join our team.

As a Freelance SAS Modeler Engineer, you will be responsible for building, validating, and maintaining complex statistical models using advanced analytics techniques and tools like SAS and Python.

Our ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of experience in modeling and analytics, with a strong background in programming languages such as Python, and expertise in statistical software like SAS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement high-performance analytical solutions using advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
  • Design, develop, and deploy predictive models using SAS and Python.
  • Lead the migration of existing SAS code to optimized Python equivalents, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Establish and enforce industry-leading standards for modeling, data quality, and workflow management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in statistical modeling and analytics.
  • Expertise in SAS programming, including Base SAS, SAS/STAT, Enterprise Miner, and Visual Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of Python programming, including popular libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, and seaborn.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
